Creston recently welcomed new homeowners to the mountain with the purchase of a home by John and Dianne Tingley. John and Dianne first toured Creston back in the fall and during that visit walked through the house that would eventually become their own. In the short few days since they’ve been here, they have already met more than a dozen Creston neighbors, been invited to dinner, into other’s homes and have been made to feel very welcome. They remarked about how warm and helpful everyone – service persons as well as neighbors – have been as they were settling in. Dianne added that “The natural beauty and tranquility of the setting just restores our souls!”
One evening, they ventured down to the Straightaway Cafe on Route 9 where they joined a group of Creston neighbors gathering for dinner. “We felt immediately at home and picked up so much helpful advice.”, said Dianne. They’ve already been enjoying walks through the community with their dog, Jackson. The Tingleys have quickly settled in and look forward to becoming even more a part of the neighborhood. Their experience is indicative of the warm and friendly mountain we call Creston. So call or visit our website today to plan your own tour and find your piece of paradise the same as the Tingleys.
